Where can I get an old Weaver 4x worked on and cleaned up???

    Quality scope work, can be expensive. Check the fair market value of your scope. To see what they actually are selling for on fleabay.

    If the quote you get for fixing/cleaning? it. Is out of line, reconsider.

    if it does not have any historic value to you, just buy another one. i see then in good condition from 40.00-60.00 at gun shows. i bought a older K-8 with plain crosshair in very good condition for 60.00 for a older rem 722 in .222. mr myopic.

    I have 3 K4s that I use on a regular basis, when they fail I'll replace them with Vortex

No cleaning or other repairs. Turnaround time is immediate, as I usually get the scopes fixed and back in the next day?s mail. No 6 or 8 month wait...Price for crosshair wire replacement is $85 and I?ll pay return shipping. For Do It Yourselfer?s, I also sell the best crosshair wire money can buy for about 20 years now. Its annealed Tungsten, is very strong & shows up Jet Black when installed. I have two diameters to choose from. Medium (.0015?) and Fine (.0005?). Price is $15 per 10 foot length of either wire.
