i smile when i see ads for .40 s&w brass and .223 remington brass. last time i went to the range the local sheriff's department was just driving out. they left about 2000 pieces of .40 and maybe 500 .223 on the ground. all of the factory boxes and styro inserts were piled next to the trash can. i picked up a couple of hundred .223s until i got tired of bending over. took an armload of the .40 boxes to use for other calibers, but i dont own a .40 so i left all that brass for the next guy.
