parts guns

I was wondering if there was any way to legally assemble a gun (in this case, an UZI) from a parts kit and stripped receiver? I'd prefer a class III rifle, and would be willing to go through any legal hurdles to build it, but a semi auto would due if a class III can't be legally pieced together. Thanks, any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Forget about the Class 3 because uncle Sam banned that over a decade ago.. The semi auto, you have better luck with since there are an abundance of parts kit(somewhat) out there. The receivers are also available still. This of course, granting that you do not live in the republic od california and no such laws prohibit you from owning an assault weapon.good luck-Smooth
