Have seen some gunshow exhibitors use a cable device through the trigger guards of each gun, back to a box-that if and when someone would try to disconnect the cable and try to steal a gun it would set off a battery powered siren alert. Which can only be shut off with a key.Would like to find one that is not motion sensitive, just activated when cable physically disconnected. Where can a person find such device?ThanksPlease Support the NRA

As far as I know there aren't any "motion" sensitive ones, they all only work if the cable is physically severed. You could easily make one, buy everything at Radio Shack. You need a piezzo speaker, a switch (key or not), some speaker wire, and RCA male and female connectors, a 9v battery, some small circuit wire, soldiering iron, soldier, and a relay switch. The speaker wire goes thru the guns trigger guard, and uses the RCA connectors in several places so you may disconnect it to show someone a gun. The speaker wire connects to the Relay switch. Then you run another circuit from the 9v battery to the piezzo speaker to the relay and back to the switch then back to the 9v battery. When the switch is on and the speaker wire comes disconnected the relay closes the circuit connected to the speaker causing it to buzz loudly. I am a really bad explainer, if you don't understand something, you can email me bbbenterprise@ih2000.netI can mail you a detailed drawing via snail mail, I don't have a scanner.
