Can a thumbhole stock for a regular ak fit this shotgun?

I have the Saiga in 7.62; I've looked at the Saiga shotguns, and like the 7.62, the trigger group is moved back to make it reachable with your trigger finger from the standard stock. There is a "law enforcement only" version of the Saiga shotgun which has a pistol grip and folding stock, but when I looked at one of those, the trigger group was positioned forward from the "civilian" version. The answer is "no" if you're thinking in terms of a pistol grip/stock in the traditional AK configuration, but I'm not real familiar with the thumbhole stock variations on AK's, I think most of them could not be "bolted on"; one would need to move the trigger forward first.Of course then there is the legal question too in relation to anything like a pistol grip; and I have seen advertisements for the Saiga (atleast in 7.62) configured with a pistol grip (apparently having the required number of US parts)....Hope I haven't confused the issue....Joe
