AR-15 mag refinishing

Does anyone know how to refinish old surplus AR-15 mags? I know that the old anodized finish is tough. I can bead blast the old finish but what can I use to make them look good and protect them?

If they are aluminum re-anondize them,if they are steel re-parkerize them. If you want to save some money, just spray some auto toner on them.Check out this website: http://www.warpig.com/paintball/technical/anodize.shtml

Unless the magazines are really worn, the anodizing is probably still mostly in place. What has worn off is the solid film coating meant to make the magazines slick. That can be closely duplicated with spray-on solid film lubricants. Brownells may have something for the job, but I have not looked.
