Need help on value of Colt DA41.Shows pat dates of Sep19 1871,Sep15 1874,and Jan 19 1875.It is in very good condition.S.N.124410.Would also like to know where to obtain loading data for this round.Thanks.

    It's an early 1901 production Model 1877 "Thunderer."I did receive your email, and I would have to see the gun for a good estimate. It is so very rare to see this model gun in anything approaching "excellent" condition that I have to suspicion a refinish without seeing it. If truly "excellent" and original, it could bring more than $1500.In any event, I would counsel against shooting it. The lockwork on that gun is notoriously fragile and repair is a nightmare. Costly, and ruinous to the value.I would certainly like to see it, and I would be interested if it is for sale.Please email me again at antiquedr@apaxenterprises.com
