Rock Island 1911 Trigger

Installed a drop in Wilson trigger in my Rock Island 1911 Tactical. The Wilson trigger fits really loose. Lots of up and down play.
Any suggestions on an aftermarket adjustable trigger with a better fit?

Hello Be aware that if the machining on your Rock Island is out of spec. "sometimes this is a know Quality Control problem" then you will have a hard time finding any DROP IN parts that fit I suggest you look at Brownell's and also call there Tech department. Most match grade guns have made the use of OVERSIZE parts that were then FITTED to the frame being used that is What makes them a MATCH grade gun. IMHO DROP IN parts just don't cut it unless you are very very lucky.

+1 on what perry said. If a Wilson trigger is such a loose fit, your frame is way out of spec. Call Brownells as said and ask for a over size trigger that needs fitting.
