long story short I dented the bell[:I][V]on my older weaver model V7 because of the firearm it is mounted on this scope is the perfect fit. I found a replacement at a gun show that LOOKED brand new but when I mounted this replacement group size went fro 1.25 inches to about 6 inches both Vertical and Horizontal . I switch back and forth a number of times but good groups always stayed with the dented scope and bad groups with the as new looking scope[:(] Does any one repair these old weavers . all newer scopes have larger front bells and the scope mounts are proprietary to this firearm with no others available.or does anyone have a good V7 they want to sell[?]

They fixed an old Weatherby scope for me and it works great now.
