Please help with cost for resale Browning B-8o semi-auto s/n 1953 of 2500 made by FN Herstel in Portugal// ducks unlimited central edition." The plains" gold inlays NIB

Special editions guns generally sell for +/- 10% of the value of the "plain" version of the same gun in the same condition. Check the GB COMPLETED AUCTIONS & see what a gun like yours actually sold for.

sorry working on more info getting it by email from old friend he wants 1500.00
Friends setting prices like that are friends that you don't need. If it is 100% brand new with all of the papers and virtually untouched by human hands it might be worth about half the amount he is asking...MAYBE. Otherwise is it worth no more than an ordinary B-80, and those sell in the $450-$500 range. The B-80 had a short life of only 6 or 7 years and was not a popular model. Commemoratives and so called "specials" based on unpopular models are like death in the resale market.

I was hoping that Yukon's friend owns a special model, but it would have to be really special to be worth $1,500.

This version was produced to be auctioned by American Ducks Unlimited Chapters. In order to realize the collector potential, it must be NIB with all supplied materials. Values Supplied are General:
NIB = $950
Exc = $750
VG = $550
So the guys here are just about dead on.
Best of luck
