Henry 44-40 Original

I recently purchased a Henry Original 44-40.
Just wanted to say----what an amazing piece of art!!! I have an assortment of weapons as well as several levers but nothing comes close to the quality of this one and I think the appearance of the original is awesome. Couldn't be happier!!! Ammo is an issue but I knew that going into it. Think I may use it on a pig hunt.

I believe Henry uses "Original Henry" in their description.

Yep, they do. I was worried he was going to use an "Original" Original Henry to go pig hunting! [:0] Of course, that would fire Henry .44 RF at $75 - $100 per round!

the rifleman used a win 1892 44-40 but was in the era of late 1880's time warp? just looked that up. you are rught he was using the rifle before it was made.
