Last time I had any PMC, at all. It was marked made in Mexico. Another indication to me, that they were Kaput.
Not even sure if the original PMC company. That was located in NV is still in business anymore?
Now, per its marketing, the company's acronym, at least for its ammo, has changed to "precision machine company" with the US distributor being based in Houston TX.
They definitely do still make lots of military ammo in Korea, though the recent ad copy doesn't state where the domestically available PMC branded ammo is made. (Probably S. Korea).
You can see their most recent product catalog here:

They no longer list .22LR in their catalog, and I haven't seen any for sale in years. None of the usual ammo sellers online stock it. . .they all list as "discontinued" or "out of stock". That doesn't mean it isn't being made anymore (eg in Korea or elsewhere under a different name), but I strongly doubt any is being imported now or sold under the PMC label.
Not incidentally, I shot the best group of my life using PMC .22LR (think it was "target" type) a few years back, though that was probably more a testament to my luck on that particular day then any intrinsic superiority of the ammo itself. Still, it was definitely good, and perhaps under-rated.
Edit: Responding to above, PMC in Korea definitely still makes ammo for commercial and military use. You can see some description on their website here: http://www.poongsan.co.kr/eng/products/defense-products/commercial-ammunition/
You definitely can still buy PMC branded centerfire ammo off the shelf or by mail order here in the USA in the usual/common calibers (.223, 9mm luger, etc) though I'm not sure if that stuff is made in Korea or not.
