I am looking for info on a side by side shotgun that is only marked "Cha's Bell-London-Laminated Steel" I believe it is a 10 gauge, with full coverage engraving. The forend is attached with a wedge pin. Seems to be high quality. Any help would be appreciated as I have been unable to find anything online.

Small shop European names are generally unknown in the U.S. There are books on the subject (pricey)and organizations that can provide info. Try typing "English Double Shotguns" to search the internet. As you stated, there are some high quality European guns made by unknown names in this country.

If in very good to excellent original condition? It probably would have more meaning and value to a collector in GB. Demand is what creates value. Little demand on this side of the pond, for Damascus barreled hammer guns.

Due to the very restrictive and draconian gun laws over there. The collecting of antique guns, that don't run afoul of their gun laws. Is much much feasible. Than the collecting of more modern firearms.
