Does anyone know what all calibers Savage ever made in ammunition?
Where could I find old Savage Headstamped Brass, doesn't need to be reloadable. Would like all calibers they made.

The head stamp list has the mark as Savage. I suspect that they had the ammo made by someone else for them. I'd guess it would likely to be found in their devolved cartridges such as 22 Savage HiPower, 250-3000 Savage, 300 Savage, 303 Savage come to mind.

There is a pic of a box of Savage 250-3000 that has the cases marked 250-3000 S-A Corp. on the web.

The cartridge collector people would likely have single samples for sale.

    Added here are others
    Savage Arms Co.
S.A. Co. (made by U.S. Cartridge Co.)
    Savage Repeating Arms Co.
    S.A. Co., S.R.A.C.O.

I'm still sort of looking for a 256 Newton.

Good luck, it will be an adventure sorting out the poorly documented past.

added 2 So I found a box of those 250's for $230 even more interesting was a sold box of Winchester 44-40 that went for $1600 for a box of 50.
