Info on Ithica model 1911 A1 .45cal Auto

I'm looking for any info you may have on an ITHICA manufactured Model 1911 A1 in .45cal auto. It has a rust blue finish and bakalite plastic grips. It's marked U.S.Army property on the right side. It has the letter "P" next to the clip release on the left side. It also has a lanyard ring behind the clip well at the bottom of the handle.
