Hi-Standard M-101 value ?

I helped a friend move tonight and he asked me the value of a Hi-Standard M-101 his grandfather gave him as he was packing. He has the original sales receipt dated 8/26/61 for $42.95. The outside of the original box is labeled "9125 Duramatic 6 1/2". The original clip is in the box, as well as an aftermarket clip. He said his grandfather told him only one clip has been shot through it ever, so i guess it would be 99%. It's serial #10955xx. Any help would be appreciated.

    $250-$300 at retail. These guns are not as popular as the Supermatics, but they are still collected especially in top condition.If the gun ever comes up for sale, have you buddy give us a shout via the link below.
