Sporter stocks for Enfields?

Are there any sources for hardwood sporter stocks, MonteCarlo type, etc., for the No.1 and No.4 Enfields? Have a collection of military Enfields but like shooting my No.4 with cut down stock. Would like to find a professionally made wood sport stock instead of the synthetic, if one exists. Any help appreciated.

At one time I sporterize a '17 Enfield.I was a great shooter until it was stolen.I used a Bishop Stock, (Monte Carlo0 . They are about $75 now days. (real wood) It came inletted and only took a little rasping for a nice fit. I didn't float the barrel and if I were to do another one I would consider either floating or glass bedding. I also had the rear sight milled off the receiver so I could get a low scope mount and cut the barrel off to 22" and reversed crowned it.Wish I still had it.

Try looking at Boyds lumber, www.boydboys.com They have them for the 1917 Enfield, but I am not at all up on old military rifles so I have no idea if it will fit. Goodluck, hope this helps.
