Do these have any value? What level of quality? I obtained one in a rather circuitous manner and don't know anything about them. It's 22LR if it makes any difference.

Well, of course, everything has a value. The Sherry was just introduced last year at a retail price of $195 (now $200, I believe)and is shown as being worth $175 in 100 percent condition. I have no personal experience with this pistol, but past Wilkinson products have had a good reputation.

I guess I mistated my question. What I wanted to know is if anyone is buying these litle guns. I also wanted to know what the "real world" market value might be. I usually use a couple of auction sites and the GUN LIST to establish a fair asking price for items I want to sell, but could find virtually no information on this item. Also you stated that it was introduced a year ago or so. I know for a fact that the individual I obtained this from has had it for 8-10 years. Was it perhaps discontinued and then reintroduced?

You, Sir, are correct. My apologies. The Sherry has been around for awhile, I can find it cataloged back to 1990 (and got tired of looking). I got your information from page 1338 Of the 21st Edition of the Blue Book of Gun Values where it states, "SHERRY MODEL-.22 LR cal. 2 1/2 in. barrel, aluminum frame, fully machined steel slide trigger group and bolt insert, available in various colors, 9 1/4 oz. New 2000. Maybe the colors are new? Perhaps someone else can help you out.

Yup. everyone's right. The Linda and Sherry were made about 8-10 years ago. The company went under and was just resurrected about 2 years ago. They first assembled guns from old parts and are now back in production.Quality is good, but there isn't a big call for .22LR mouse guns since you can now get .32s and even a .380 in the same size pistol. The Linda sells, but the 'assault guns' like that seem to not sell fast anymore, esp. at price above what old Tec-9s and that ilk go for. I've seen them (the Linda and Sherry) at shows being sold by the company and there are lots of lookers, but few sales.P.S. The value quoted is ballpark. Even if it's a NIB pistol, you can't get what a factory new one goes for, since it's pre-owned and not a collectible. $150-175 is what you can probably get for it.[This message has been edited by luger01 (edited 10-09-2001).]
