Hi cap. Ruger P-89

A post elsewhere mentioned that using high cap. mags in post '94 guns is legal. Is this true? Does anyone know the s/n cut off for pre '94 the Ruger P-89. I know they started the model in '92, so many should be out there.Thanks,

    Dano, I have had 3. 2 - '79 that I bought in '79 and repaired. One wrecked and one abused. Then I bought a new '80. Still have it. I've missed only 3 years since '82 to the Sturgis rally. Many years, I have the only CBX around. I always wanted a '82 - with the factory fairing and bags.
