Can anyone help me I own a s&w 38 special model 10-7 it has a 2 inch barrel and the only other thing that I could tell you about this is that I got it back around 1980 or 1982. I would like to get a holster for it but I need to find out what frame it is. thank you !

Model 10 is a K frame.

The model 10 is based on the medium smith "K" frame.
Holsters and other accessories should be fairly easy to find and relatively inexpensive.
Note that if you want to change the grips, you'll need to know whether or not you have a round or square butt version.
While most of the K-frames are square butts, many of the snubnose versions (like yours) have round butts:
