I got a book called "The French 1935 Pistol" by Medlin and Doane. The kraut pistols started at B 701, in October 1940. Yours with a "A" prefix would date to 1939/1940.

    The German production went from "B" 701 in 1940 to "D" 3,80? in 1944.

    EDIT #1,

Don't have any recent experience, regarding value of the 1935A model. But I sold a 1935S, to a dealer couple of years ago. Wasn't a easy gun to sell. Only reason he bought because I included 3 original boxes of French commercial ammo.

Other than the 24,000 A's, that have the German Waffenamt acceptance markings. There's little interest in the French pistols. Mostly because the ammo is very expensive and hard to come by.
