It must be shipped to an FFL dealer. Shipment to an individual is illegal under the Un-SAFE Act.

    thank you

You're welcome. When I lived in NY last year, I bought a case of .22 ammo online. The shipper just sent it to my name in care of my dealer. When it arrived, my dealer just handed it to me. Silly, useless law.

Actually, a New York State Ammunition Dealers License OR a FFL is required. Non FFL's had to apply for it along with evidence (Sales Tax Certificate) to prove a legitimate business.

I went thru this, and gave up when NY State rejected my Sales Tax Certificate for the 3rd time (but they accept my Sales Tax payments just fine).[:(!]
