anyone have the trim length for 6mm06?is it the same as 2506? thanks

    I don't but I am buying one of these guns, a custom winchester, how did you form your brass? and what about dies?, any info you could give me would be greatly appreciated, and I'll look through my vast book and magazine collection for your info. Seems Precision Shooting has done articles on this caliber, I'll have to look and see if I have a copy, they may have the info archived on their web site

    orphanedcowboy, Try Redding for the dies. They can also custom make a set of dies for you if they don't already produce it. As for trim length, feed a case into the chamber, if it hits, trim it .020". Forming cases can be almost completed with the form and trim die that will come with a set of Redding custom dies. They came with my 6.5-06 ackley and .280 Ackley dies and work very well.
