I just bought an used Sako Finnbear at a gun show, and pulled the bolt out of the carrage to clean it. The firing pin engaged and now I can't get the bolt back in the carrage! Stupid me I should have bought a manual. Can anyone help me or do I have to take it to a Smith?[V] Thanks

It can be reset, I've done the same to mine....
Try inserting the bolt into the action while pressing on the button.
The Sako Models I'm familar with have a Bolt Stop Assembly on the left side of the action, (just above the wood line), opposite the bolt handle. There is a button on it you have to press to get the bolt out.

I can't tell for sure from your description but it sounds like your cocking piece rotated and is out of position and fell into the 'fired' (deeper notch) and can't go back into the receiver. You need to pull back on the cocking piece and rotate it back into the small notch on the bolt body.
Here is a link to the manual for the Finnbear:

Scroll down to the Sako Finnbear and select. You need Adobe Acrobat to read these files.
Best of luck!
C'mon there has to be some experts out there to help out this poor ol' boy.
