I fired my beretta jetfire today, or tried to. Would not extract the spent round. If i understand correctly the jetfire has a blowback extractor so why??????? I must admit i was using cheap rounds. Any help? [:(][V]

The Berettas with the pop-up barrels don't have extractors. Residual gas in the barrel, supposedly does the work of the extractor.

Check if the chamber needs cleaning, and change your ammo.

i bet your right. I really trust beretta and these guns have so little that can go wrong. I broke one of my own rules and fired a new gun before cleaning it. Plus i was using low velocity bullets. I will try it again next weekend, cleaned and with Hi Vel bullets

    Thanks for the help.
