oes anyone know why the ramrad is so short for this muzzle loader.
the one i have leaves about 6 1/2 inches from the plug to where the rod stops when inserting the ramrod completely into the barrel, it seams there would be a space left of about 2 inches for the powder to flop around in??? should I just add a longer ram rod????

    My older Huntsman in .45 caliber and a newer one in 50 caliber both have ramrods that unscrew and telescope to the proper length. If yours doesn't, it probably has been broken.
