steel or bismuth shot in old Superposed

I've got 1962 20ga browning superposed with mod/imp choke barrel. Will it hurt it to shoot a couple boxes of steel or would bismuth be better? Thanks

Another steel issue. Great!! Since this is a more valuable gun I wouldn't shoot the steel even though it likely wouldn't hurt. I'd use bismuth. I recall the hevi is not soft but I could be wrong there Before I shot the hevi I'd check the hardness
The company that makes "Hevi-Shot" makes several varieties, one of which is specifically designed for the older shotguns.
