    The shorter the barrel on ANY 1911 type pistol the more prone it is to function problems. #1 the tipping angle of the barrel increases making for failure to feed problems #2 because of the shorter bore time the time to generate recoil impulse is also shorter this causes failure to eject and fully cycle the slide.#3 more prone to function failures because of limp wrist & more prone to limp wrist because of sharper recoil [:(!][xx(][V][:(] YMMV
