Knife Recognition Help

I am selling this for a friend of mine but I have 0 clue what it is. The what, when, where, who, and value is what I'm hoping to get some help with. It might be worth nothing...it might be a relic. Who knows. Anything at all will be appreciated greatly. Thanks so much!

I also need help on this one. Again I obviously know it's a Gottschalk but I'm not very familiar with this knife and was wondering if again anyone could help me with the who, what, when, where, and value as it will soon be for sale. Thanks!

It looks like an old Loveless. But their blade shape is usually different than yours. Without a pic of a makers mark, it's anybody's guess.

The angled pictures make it difficult to tell. What does it SAY on the blade?
It's not a Loveless. The knife is German. Several German companies sold knives of this type, including Puma.

I'm inclined to believe that it is of Puma manufacture. If you put it up for auction, let us know

I would say it's the same. There is also one on eebbaayy right now.

Thank you all so much for your input. I saw nothing on the blade. The only markings I saw were the serial number on the side of the grip. After you guys mentioned Puma I just took a glance on Gunbroker and I came upon a knife that looks identical in every way except the marking on the blade. Would you guys go so far to say they are the same knife and somehow the markings on my blade have just been worn off? The link of the knife I found is below. You can compare them to my pictures...I believe they are the same knife. Thank you so much!

I think you have found the twin to your knife. I don't think the name is worn off but rather was removed for what ever reason[?][?][?] by someone before you got the knife . Maybe the owner wanted to claim he made it[V]

There is no sheath with this one, just the knife.

The Puma markings on the auction knives appear to have been etched on, rather then engraved. Perhaps some previous owner of yours didn't realize this and tried to clean up the blade by either vapor or sand blasting it. Unfortunately this will have a negative affect on value.
