french berthier question

have a french 1907-15 question bertheir and am missing the small screw that screws into the receiver, its just behind the bolt where the stock has kinda a half moon cut out for it. i need to know the purpose of it and what it would be called so maybe i can order one. i also need a front crossbolt. anyone know where i can pick these parts up at. main this is knowing what that screw is called because numrich might have it. hopefully the last question!, do these guns have a safety and if so how do you engage it? thanks

Springfield Sporters in Penn Run, Pennsylvania took in several thousand Berthiers that had been cut down by the Turks. As long as you don't need something from the barrel band to the muzzel as originally configured, they will have it.
