Have a Colt 45 SSA nickel finish stag horn grips 4-3/4 bbl- serial number 88640-- there is a pat dat sep 19 1871 july 2-72 jan 19-75. The writing on the bbl is washed out and hard to read but it says Colt mfc co under Hartford conn. Any idea what its worth? Thinking of selling it and not sure what to ask. Thanks to anyone that can give me some idea.

What he means is that Colt SAA's bring top dollar on GunBroker. A lot of sellers start their sales at a penny to stimulate bids.
Sounds like EXPERT advice
