Fox Sterlingworth ?

Savage bought out Fox around 1929 and did make some Fox model shotguns in New York. I know the Fox Co. made Philadelphia guns have a better sale value than the Savage made New York guns.

My question is, are there any handling and use changes between the two, the Phili and New York models? Seems, on the Sterlingworth, Savage made the same gun on the same pattern.

I'm aware of the upgraded Stevens, Fox Model B Savage put out, I'm not talking about it.

most of the Utica made Sterlingworths have more modern shooting dimensions....but the further along thru the 30s you go the cruder the fit and finish become.......from mid 30s grip caps are hit or miss....lock lever changed from long svelte style to almost Stevens style.....forearm chunked up also......but they still functioned fine.....
