I bought a 1973 Ruger Factory Engraved first year new model
Single Six. According to the estate sale only 13 were made. I am having a hard time authenticating it. Anyone know about this gun? I currently have it listed. Ruger confirmed its ship date but wants me to send them money to verify anything more.

That said, IMHO. To get the big bucks for your Single Six. A Ruger factory letter, authenticating it's rarity would be the best thing.
If you believe it is truly 1 of 13 or so, pony up the cash for proof. Once it's proven, the value is there for a collector. No difference with Colt or Winchester when trying to authenticate a particular gun.
Best of luck,

Having looked, I do not believe that is factory original engraving.
Thank you. I have sent in the letter to Ruger and updated my listing accordingly.
Amateur engraving. Not factory!
I agree with Bill and He Dog. That isn't factory quality.
