When I was still doing the auctions. Use to get a lot of complaints, about the postage. When I noted in my adds, that the postage. Was for the USPS flat rate boxes. All but the hard core trolls, quit bitchen about the shipping costs.

For what it's worth, priority mail is significantly less for light weight items. I used priority mail yesterday to ship some ear protection to a friend who left them in my range bag. With tracking and insurance it was $7 and some change.

I pretty much stay away from flat rate boxes unless the item is heavy. Use your own box and most of the time it is a lot cheaper to ship.
