Antonio Zoli / Dakin Gun Co. need info.

Looking for infromation and est value for aSxS 10 gauge with Dakin Gun Company on onebarrel and Antonio Zoli Gaidone Brescia Italyon the other. The gun is in average condition about 85% and is nice and tight.

    Dakin was in San Francisco, for short run in the 1960's.None of the reference material that I have shows that they ever imported any 10 gauges. It is obvious that they did as you have one.Does it have extractors or ejectors?Is it box-lock or side-lock action?Does it have double triggers, single nonselective trigger, or single selective trigger?Does the receiver have some light engraving or is it heavily engraved?Does the barrels have a low solid rib or does the barrels have a vent-rib?Also Angelo Zoli went out of business in 1987. CaptKirk - moderator of this forum says that there is a company in Canada now by that name - it would be interesting to know if they were "related" to the Italian company.Yours is apparently made by another Zoli with similiar name - Antonio Zoli - is still in business in Italy[This message has been edited by AdamsQuailHunter (edited 11-04-2001).]
