I have a pre-ban mak-90 and was wondering if I can put a folding stock on it now that the ban has expired? Also, I heard that CDNN has hi-cap mags, what is CDNN?

Hi fellow gunmen I have a question about my mak-90. Recently I came across a post where a fellow asked question about legal muzzle brake. Well I have a Mak-90 in .223, which has a bayo lug, which was milled out but not correctly because the bayo still holds if you adjust the bayo screw. There is also a thread on the end of the barrel with standard thread. Well some one was trying to either convert it to something or I don't know. What he did was cut an adapter that is threaded and when screwed on looks exactly like the rifle so when you look it kooks like regular barrel end but when you unscrew it it had a thread. I had used it with a suppressor and it is a standard thread so at lease I know that it is not a cheap in home conversion.
Please comment on this rifle I do not want to get on to trouble

doesn't the sporter have the "muzzle break" instead of the sawed off flash surpressor? Do they both have thumbhole stocks? I know sometimes sporter means thumbhole stock to avoid the assault ban thing. I'm not an expert, just offering some things to look for, if it helps at all.

thanks both of the ones for sale have the thumbhole stock---no bayonet lug but both have 50 rd clips and 1 drum that they will throw in for the same money--anyone know what they are worth??????

They are going for $250-$325 with a 5 or 30rd. clip. 50rd clips about $45, 75rd drums about $90. Before the ban I bought one for $125. So I would say they're only "worth" $125.[This message has been edited by oneshy (edited 11-09-2001).]
