Remington 700 Value

I have a chance at a Remington 700 Mt.Rifle .280 cal. looks almost new.It has a Redfeild 3x9x40 on it.Anyone got an idea on what would be a fair price? Thanks

    Wood Stock and one of the good Redfields? I would give no more than $300 in great shape. There are a lot of 700's to be had.I love em, but I would only buy it to use the action for something else. Might want a few more opinions. They are, however, a great rifle. I have many.
