Crimson Trace problem.

A freind was up this weekend and had a Colt 1991 with brand new Crimson Trace grips. This is the first time I had seen the CT grips. When we were looking at the red dot it was round and very clear. Then we went to my range an he ran 50 rounds through the gun. When we looked at the dot again it was fragmented, showed a bunch of small scattered light dots. Looking at it, the lens looks like it is fragmented. Anyone ever had something like this?

Like in the NFL, defense is the key.

Are they brand new? if so send them back and CT will fix them, sounds like a defective lens.

CT has OUTSTANDING customer service! Email them or call and they wil fix you up sounds like the lens cracked ...did you try cleaning it? might have gotten dirt on it the grips come with a small swab to use to clean them
