Recticle adjust cap stuck.

The cap over the windage adjustment on my Simmons scope would not spin off. When I tried to remove it, the entire windage assembly came off with it. The scope was mounted to a Ruger 10-22. It is a 4X silver scope. The scope came with the gun and it is in like new condition. Sorta PO'd about this. Just curious if any of you have had this happen. Guess the scope is worthless now.

    chiefr---In my opinion
Simmons scopes may be suitable for some low end applications, but their warranty is NON-EXISTENT. Save your money, and get a decent scope. HAWKSHAW

I guess your are right. The scope came with the gun. I have never seen that before and owned many different scopes.
