I need some help finding 1903 Browning 7.65 mm 32 acp. barrels, I have never found any barrels for 1903 Browning on G.B. or at Numrich. Where can one buy used or new old stock barrels 7.65 mm 32 acp. for 1903 Browning. Or who can make after market barrels for a 7.65 32 cal. 1903 Browning semi-autos. Regards Bruce

I converted mine to .380, let me look a bit and see where I put the .32 barrel.

The 1903 Browning was a military pistol made in Belgium chambered for the 9mm Browning Long cartridge. The Sarco company located in New Jersey is supposed to have a small supply of replacement parts for these pistols, which originated in Sweden whose army used the 1903 Browning as their sidearm.

I have never heard of a replacement barrel chambered for the .32 ACP cartridge for the 1903 Browning pistol. Perhaps your confusing the 1903 Browning made in Belgium with the Model 1903 Colt made in the United States that was chambered for the .32 ACP cartridge?

    I got confused.
I (wrongly) assumed he meant 1903 Colt. That I have a barrel for.

Thanks for the help. The M and N model colt is a shorter barrel and of a different design I believe that Browning did ship some 1903 models over to the states with a 32 acp barrels, looks like it will be hard to find any. Does anybody know of a good barrel maker that I could get a new 7.65 mm 32acp barrel made with specifications for a 1903 Browning?

I don't understand even if you had a .32 ACP barrel made or relined a 9mm Browning Long barrel to .32, how you would get the .32 ACP to feed from a 9mm Browning Long magazine. The .32 is a smaller in diameter and shorter cartridge then the 9mm BL. Without have a new magazine made specifically for the .32 ACP, or altering a original 9mm BL mag, it appears to be a exercise in futility.

Usually, .32 acp and .380 acp magazines are the same size and will feed either round.
I would sleeve the chamber on your existing barrel and use .380.

The 1903/07 is 9mm or 380 acp they are the same mm barrel with different chambers for the two rounds 9x17 and 9x19 and you can buy either type with little problem, and use the same mag, but I need 7.65 mm. for this conversion

    I have finished and tested three (3) Conversions already, a 1910 Browning 1330 F.P.S., A 1922 Browning 1505 F.P.S. and a Remington Model 51 1345 f.p.s. I am working next on a HSc Mauser and a Colt N/M I may do after the 1903 Browning.

What appears to be a exercise in futility to some, is just thinking out of the box to others. The 1903 is just one pistol in a string of Pistols that could be converted this way. I am not going to discuss much detail at this time about any rounds I'm working on or with, or exactly what has to be done in this wildcat. But the 1903 mag will not be a problem and I have cycled this round flawlessly in a 1903 mag. With this conversion of the 1903 Browning it will shoot a est. 1600+ f.P.S. with no added recoil.

This conversion uses 15% less recoil (Power Factor) than a (+P), penetrates 8.3" of Gelatin after passing through four (4) layers of denim, expanding to a .55" mushroom with a retained weight of 100%, It has a Fuller Index of 62% One-Shot Stops all in a four inch barrel. The longer the barrel the faster it shoots up to a point. 1903 has a 5" barrel and is the longest of most small or smaller types of semi-autos.

If anybody knows a good barrel maker please let me know. Regards Bruce
