USFA vs Uberti

I'm looking at purchasing either a USFA Gunslinger or Uberti Cattleman Antique Finish in 45LC or 44-40 and am wondering which direction to go regarding quality vs costs?

USFA. They are equal to if not better than Colt and manufactured in Connecticut.

USFA is excellent quality, on par (same say better) than Colt. Uberti makes many levels of SAA type revolvers for many marketers, some great some middle of the road. I have a Colt and my next SAA type will probably be USFA in a slightly different configuration. If I were buying a more utilitarian SAA I suppose I'd go with an Uberti made one, if I wanted a little cache I'd go with USFA.

Quality vs. cost scale will be a constant* regarding USFA/Uberti.

    So, let's concentrate on quality.

    USFA. Best, Joe

*cost proportionate to quality, either up or down..similar value realized per dollar expended

Being that USFA is similar to the Colt SAA then I presume that they cant handle any +P loads either, which is too bad as it would be nice to shoot +P in the old style revolvers rather than looking for a nice old model Ruger Vaquero.

    Between the two USFA.
