What is a Unertl 20x54 spotting scope worth? It's in good condition with the exception of some fogging on the edges of the front lens. When looking through the scope, the picture is bright and sharp with no evidence of the fogging. It functions perfectly. It has both lens covers. It also has a Freeland bipod mount, bench style.

it is a very good brand and maybe you can have the fogging removed by someone that repairs scopes maybe even Unertl. aside from that it is only WORTH what someone offers. I suspect about 50% of value for one with no Fogging.

Unertl made three spotting scopes. The 20X54 was the less expensive one and I believe primarily used in pistol boxes for bulllseye pistol shooting. The intermediate scope was the 24X63 and the top of the line was the 100MM team spotting scope. I suggest you do a "smart search" on gunbroker for completed auctions and see what some may have sold for. While Unertl was one of the best back in the day, much advancement has been made in spotting scopes. The 20X54 sold without the stand for $270 in 1994.
