I recently purchased a Colt Competition Commander and was wondering how I would go about finding a manual for this pistol. I searched all over the Colt web site and could find nothing.Being a techincal writer by trade, I have this (*) obsession about documentation.Any one have any information?

You can get a replacement instruction manual by writing to: Colt's Manufacturing Company, Inc.Box 1868Hartford Connecticut 06144-1868or call:1-800-962-COLTwhen requesting a manual, include the information from the left side of the firearm(model # or designated name) with the serial #trap

I saw that on the Colt website, but they didn't say anything about manuals. They were selling "letters" about Colt firearms for up to $300 each. Thanks for the tip. I will call and see what I can get (and how much it costs).
