the rifle i have is the small ring mauser type. the serial number is too low to be a model 22. it has double set triggers, the floorplate, trigger guard and bolt are jeweled. the stock is striped walnut with a lot of fiddleback. it has the manufacture date 46.this gun has exactly 60 rounds through it and is about 99%. does anyone know if brno did special orders during 46?

Brno did a lot of things for companies throughout Europe and the US. One such company was the Continental Arms Corporation of NYC. They were a Griffin & Howe type high end shop that imported fancy Brno rifles. The possibilities for custom rifles on pre-war actions are endless. You can reach me at stutzenrifles@aol.com if I can be of further help.
