Price help please Gents

Two "estimated" price questions.1. What are ruger pre-ban "FACTORY" 15 round 9mm mags worth? I looked at all of them and they looked mint. The guy told me none of them had ever been used and from the looks of them I believe him. What is a ball park figure on one of these? Also are they worth less without the box? Once last question about them. Is there a "tale tale" sign that one could check to see if they have been used even though they "look" brand new? 2. What is going rate on an AR-15? I have no idea what brand it is and have not yet seen the gun. So take the cheapest model you guys know and assume the gun is in average condition and shoot some prices at me. What would be a "STEAL" on the gun. I won't buy it unless I can get it under fair market price. Thanks guys!

    well the clips sell for about 39.99 new in shotgun news got a couple last week the ar is in one ad for around 495.00 post ban hope this helps ----the hawk

    $495 for a good used post-ban AR is a real good price. No way are you going to get a pre-ban for that price. If you do it is either probably hot or the guy is an idiot that is selling it. A good price on a good used Colt Preban is $1000 to $1350 depending on model and condition. I prefer models with the A-2 lowers. Boomer

    Sorry forgot to mention that, yes it's a pre-ban gun. What would be a great deal on the gun if it were in average shape and an average model? I also just got a call about a 50 round, new in the box ramline 10-22 clip for $100.00 How's that price sound? I never find 50 round 10-22 clips new in the box so I have no prices to compare. Damn that ban! Soon big daddy clips will cost more than the gun.
