What all parts would I need to do this swap and what would it cost? I have a 700 ADL in 7mag that shoots like a dream(.28@100) but I sure like the idea of having a clip and dont want to trade this one in just change it over.clhess

Remington advises this isn't possible, there is an aftermarket item- think it is called a quick-clip or something like that-maybe somebody else knows the correct name.

You can get all the parts from Brownells:Whitail Mfg Floorplate w/detachable mag: #971-700-002 Magnum long conversion $119.95 orH.S.Precision Floorplate w/detatchable mag: #393-210-721 Belted magnum conversion $185.00 and of course a BDL style stock, I reccomend a Boyds JRS Laminated, but it would be your own preference.

do yourself a favor and listen to orphanedcowboy. I have several H&S precision stocks and they are, in my opinion, a target grade item. They have aluminum bedding blocks in them and can be drop in capable. H&S doesn't recommend bedding the action because this is taken care of with the aluminum blocks however, I have my actions epoxy bedded into the stock anyway. The H&S is the stock that comes on the Sendero 700 rem, and if you have ever shot one of these right out of the box you WILL BE a beleiver in the product. Handles well, shoots great.

you can purchase a factory remington stock either wood or synthetic. syn will run about 100 bucks and the wood probably slightly higher. then buy the magazine insert and detachable box mag
