Does the state of Massassachusetts have any laws regarding sending muzzleloaders through the mail? My cousin is interested in buying one through mail order, but he believes this might be illegal in his commie state.Anyone know what the story is?Thanks in advance

Hello, I'm a Mass resident.I believe as long as you ship it to a FFL in Massachusetts, and your cousin fills out an FA-10 form at the dealer (which is a form necessary when buying/selling guns in Massachusetts) you'll be legal.I would suggest you go to www.goal.org They are a Mass gun rights group, and have a phone number you can call and ask legal questions. I've called them on several occassions and they were very helpful.Just make sure he fills out an FA-10 form, and you should be ok.

ED P- Thanks for the info. To tell you the truth, I am a bit shocked that you have to go through this nonsense to get a muzzleloader rifle. In my state(PA) Receiving a muzzleloader in the mail is as easy as receiving a watch in the mail. No FFL, no forms, no nothing.
