This link has a pretty good faq on how to id good magazines vs. bad. http://www.recguns.com/IIID2b127.html I've had very bad luck with USA brand mags. Sticking with GI mags is probably your best bet. I've heard people here say the Thermold plastic mags are good too.

I've always had good luck with Adventure Line and OKay brand mags.

Any USGI aluminum mag except a Cooper is good.Most of the Coopers are good and are easy to fix if not.All it takes is a vise to squeeze them.US made Thermolds by Wilson are also high quality.Forget all the rest.cpermd
