Can anyone tell me about the collectability of a German made Weatherby mark V in 300 Weatherby magnum. It also has open sights and is in excellent-like new condition. I understand that Weatherby's are now made in Japan. What would it be possibly be worth?

German Mk V's are collectable. .300WM is the most common caliber, although the open sights give it a slight bump. In crisp, mint condition they are bringing $900 - $1000.
