Bushnell 2.5-8 vari-x IV w/ mounts

I have a bushnell 2.5x8 scopechief IV that has on the bottom of the scope several grooves in it and some of the weirdest mounts that I have ever seen that attach to a dove-tail on the bottom. Does anyone know what I have as Bushnell tells me that they must have the model # to get me any info and there is no model # on the scope anywhere.Hope someone can help me with item.
